Dr. Shikuan Yang is currently a Professor-level research scientist in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University. Dr. Yang conducted his postdoctoral research at Munster University (Germany) from 2009 to 2011 and The Pennsylvania State University (USA) from 2011 to 2016. Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. degree from Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009.Dr. Yang’s research focuses on template-directed synthesis of surface micro/nanopatterns, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), electrochemistry, quantum dots and related optoelectronic devices, and biomimetics.


His research has led to more than 50 publications, including ~30 first/corresponding author publications in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, USA (PNAS), Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Chemistry of Materials, etc. These publications have attracted more than 2500 citations with an H-index of 25.
